Engineering the Future of Aviation Inspection.
Founded in Muscat, Oman — pioneering autonomous inspection across MENA.
Drone Lens was founded in 2024 in Oman by a team of engineers and aviation specialists who saw first-hand how dangerous and inefficient traditional aircraft inspections were. Evolving from an award-winning graduation project that won the UPGRADE program — transferring to a startup. Starting with government-funded research and peer-reviewed publications, the team built and validated their first autonomous inspection drone prototype, before being incubated by Oman Airports' prestigious Runway Program. Today, Drone Lens is the first company in the MENA region to offer a fully autonomous AI-powered aircraft inspection platform, with ambitions to scale across the GCC and beyond.
